Back in April 2019, under our previous name Deeper Sounds, the legendary producer and composer Paul Hardcastle created an exclusive mix for Emirates Inflight Radio — a soundtrack designed to guide travellers across time zones and horizons.

Renowned for his pioneering sound — smooth, soulful, and timelessly electronic — Hardcastle crafted a listening experience that was both expansive and intimate, balancing stillness with movement. 

A soundtrack for drifting at 30,000 feet, where imagination itself became the destination.

Now, as part of the Imaginative Soundscapes Archive, this mix finds its natural home. It represents not just a chapter in our history, but also a perfect reflection of what we continue to embody today: music as atmosphere, story, and space to dream.
