No More Deaths is a humanitarian organization based in southern Arizona whose mission is to end death and suffering in the Mexico–US borderlands.

Bryce Peterson has been organizing and doing direct aid on the US-Mexico border for four years and was involved in recent abuse documentation for No More Deaths 

Ary Tischler has been volunteering with No More Deaths for six years and is currently working as NMD's social media coordinator.

About the Podcast: 

Diasporaa was Aditya's third startup based in Vancouver, BC. It focused on helping new immigrants in Canada find their feet, get off to a running start and ease their assimilation into Canadian life. A big part of the platform were conversations, community and support. Though the startup stopped growing once Aditya moved to Seattle, WA - it remained alive in the form of several discussion groups and online communities.

Now, Diasporaa has been resurrected in the form of a podcast focused on uncovering and sharing interesting immigrant stories from the South Asian diaspora. It is available on YouTube, all major podcast platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, etc. and is also broadcast as a radio show on Alternative Talk 1150 AM and 98.9 FM HD Channel 3 on Wednesdays from 2-3pm PST. 

About Aditya Mehta:

Aditya is a Bombay boy who has lived in Austin, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Vancouver before making it to his current home in Seattle. He has degrees in marketing, urban planning, real estate and strategy but has spent his career in financial services, social media and now real estate - mostly as an entrepreneur and partly as an employee at Amazon.

He balances Indian, Canadian and American culture, loves helping those who are new to North America and looks forward to the interesting stories that his interview guests bring each week. Diasporaa 12-03-25 From Marble to Meta: Suchir Agarwal’s Successful Career Story

On this BONUS EPISODE of CASCADE OF HISTORY, Feliks Banel tours the historic "U.S. Immigrant Station and Assay Office" on the south edge of downtown Seattle with Brian Lane, one of the many artists who have studio spaces inside the former U.S. government facility.

Brian Lane is a printmaker and letterpress artist who's had a studio in the building for 12 years. He's an arts educator, and is deeply committed to his art, as well as to sharing the history of the old immigration facility - and especially how that history intersects with his work, with current events, and with the work of others artists who have spaces there.

The non-profit group Friends of Inscape will hold the holiday season edition of their twice-a-year-only open studios event on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free. The event features dozens of artists and crafts vendors offering their wares, thought-provoking history displays about specific elements and places within the former immigration facility, and peeks inside some of the most distinctive studio spaces in the Pacific Northwest.

12/7/25. Even If...Life Makes No Sense (Pr. Harry)

The guest host for today's show is Brad Bannon. Brad runs Bannon Communications Research, a polling, message development and media firm which helps labor unions, progressive issue groups and Democratic candidates win public affairs and political campaigns. His show, 'Deadline D.C. with Brad Bannon,' airs every Monday from 3-4pm ET.

Brad is first joined by Kate Lincoln-Goldfinch, an Immigration Attorney and Advocate. The pair discusses Trump's new efforts to block immigration from 19 countries he deemed 'high risk.'
Kate also explains the details of the U.S. Supreme Court agreeing to take up one of President Trump's most contentious policies by reviewing the American legal principle of "birthright citizenship," potentially upending a 127-year-old understanding of who gets to be a U.S. citizen. 
Kate and Brad also discussed how alarmingly frequent it has been for ICE to arrest and detain U.S. citizens for hours to even days, with some of them being assaulted in the process.

Then, Center for American Progress's Natasha Murphy talks with Brad about healthcare, including premiums that are set to skyrocket at the end of the month if Republicans refuse to extend ACA tax credits.
Natasha also breaks down why the Health Savings Account options, which many congressional Republicans are pushing as a replacement for ACA tax credits, do nothing to help pay for skyrocketing health insurance premiums themselves.
