Based on the inspiring true story of Manoj Kumar Sharma, 12th Fail is the story of a young man desperate to fight the corruption that has taken root in the Indian Civil Service. Vowing to uphold honesty and to stop cheating, Manoj faces only one set of obstacles between himself and his goals: the rigorous Indian Civil Service Entrance Exam. 

At time of recording, it was ranked 58th on the list of the best movies of all time on the Internet Movie Database.

374. 12th Fail (#58)

"Kill" had its world premiere at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival, where it was the First Runner Up winner for the Midnight Madness section. Director/Writer Nikhil Nagesh Bhat's bloody, action, revenge film has been described as "The Raid" meets "Snowpiercer," and the companions could not be any more true. Bhat and his leading star, Lakshya, were kind enough to spend some time talking with me about their experience making the film, how it has found an audience in the United States, what went into the fight choreography, and more. Please be sure to check out the film, which is now playing in theaters from Roadside Attractions.
