04 - The Öbjektz - Field

Aaj Jane Ki Zid Na Karo

"The Öbjektz" states that music is something that should have soul, All their music is connected by the sounds of nature. As artists, they try to merge all kinds of Organic and Melancholic flavours to obtain the feel in their music. They had to recall a variety of musical styles that they listened to as a child and as a teenager that was highly influential towards their development.

While jamming a session of music together whatever they touched were objects which could be touched and felt to produce frequencies, hence they eventually chose "The Öbjektz" as their band name which comprises Ajay Aj and Babu Bharathidasan.

Together with a longtime friendship, they produced tracks which were highly involved in the underground scene that urged them to spread and push new electronic music. 

Back in 2012, the planning was initiated by them with a question in their mind of whether the people would accept the genre and get connected with a soulful approach. Living in an isolated region, lacking a musical surrounding they self-taught the essentials of making electronic music, With a great passion towards nature they together groomed to capture sounds and samples that were produced by the nature combining with a melancholic/euphoric atmosphere which in turn added flavour to their compositions.

Being open-minded and resents musical limits they decided not to narrow down on genres with just one style wherein they invited music of different patterns that is avant-garde and soulful.

Our band was incepted back in march of 2020 in our college (national institute of technology,jamshedpur).So we hope to come forward with more such covers of good songs along with our original songs in the near future.
