Broken Frame

Inspired by how different bird species flock together to form communities in the wild, this is a colorful summer dance anthem about the power of community and diversity to overcome life's challenges. In a time of social and political divide, it celebrates connection and optimism.

The track features recordings I collected in the old-growth forests of the Pacific Northwest during the “dawn chorus”, the sunrise hour where songbirds raise their voices to sing in another day.
