“This Is Not What We Came For” was born from a need to bring two worlds together; the energy of UK bass, jungle, and breakbeat, with the emotion and melody of indie. It was a personal challenge as a producer: can I create something that works just as well in a club as it does live on stage? Jungle and post-punk move around the same tempo, yet come from completely different places; that tension was exactly what I wanted to explore. Did it work? No idea. But it felt like the right moment to share this track.

Jennifur - This Is Not What We Came For

This reimagining of Journey's 80's rock ballad OPEN ARMS reframes the song as a tiny, glowing confession—an indie-electronic murmur built from tape hiss, soft pulses, and fragile glitches.

Stripped of its old grandeur, it becomes a lo-fi vow whispered from someone learning to trust again, someone who is piecing together tenderness from the fragments of their own doubts about vulnerability.

White Elephant is a collaboration between Crazy P's Jim Baron and Chris Todd with Ben Smith (of Smith & Mudd fame). musically a blank canvas, here you'll find anything from extended valium-ambience to Balls out Kraut Rock pop.

Producer and artist blending the neon glow of Synthwave, the smooth energy of City-Pop, and the pulsating rhythms of Electronica.

My music is the soundtrack for a late-night drive: a mix of melancholic soundscapes and energetic beats designed to keep the party moving after dark. Think vintage synths, driving basslines, and dreamy, cinematic atmospheres.

Lucas Mokrani & Claire Lengaigne met during some holidays at a mutual friend’s place in the mountains a quickly started to work on some demos together. The ambivalence, between one’s rage and the other’s softness, is what makes Saavan’s sound : atmospheric layers of soft sounds meeting deconstructed rythms and strong bass. Saavan’s work seems to be heading toward one goal : creating the soundtrack of our memories. After two EP's and the release of their first album on Yotanka Records in 2022 : CHAPTERS, they've decided to change things up. In order to release  music more often,  and to stop worrying about which song could fit in a bigger project,  they came up with a new challenge : one song every three weeks, for a year. "WHEN I FALL" the second of the series, is out now!

SINCERE IMPOSTER is an intimate collection of artists exploring a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave, and Experimental World Pop. Collectively, this is known as QUIRKPOP — music that pushes the creative limits of traditional pop.

Expect an unpredictable journey through sound, emotion, and humor, where genres collide and pop bends in strange new ways. Each song is conceived, composed, and performed with total sincerity, whether it’s built from voices, instruments, software, or hybrid experimentation. The focus is on the music itself: if it resonates, it resonates. No explanation required.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is curated by two musicians, both living within the same body, sharing a singular existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused, yet extremely and unapologetically sincere.

Influences range from Weird Al and Nathan Fielder to David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain, and T-Swift. 

Danielle & Dave’s favorite inventions include the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel… who may be an entity or a god.
