The Spacecast #11 comes from a rising artist named @LiliHauser. She is a young promoter, DJ and visual artist from the forests around Poznań.

She answered a few questions for us:

1. How did your artist name come about?

It is actually my name and surname :) I think it sounds great and since I am jumping around House music then it was meant to be that I keep Lili Hauser as my artist name as well :)

2. Since when have you been DJing?

I started DJing in the beggining of 2021 

3. Favorite club?

It’s hard to choose. So far I have to say both Sisyphos and Kater Blau equally ☺️

4. Favorite time?

I love playing during the sunset. It’s great moving between sunset and night time and adjusting the mood accordingly. 

5. Favorite color?

I love shades of green, turquoise and earthly colors 

6. Favorite food?

Sushi

7. Favorite planet?

Earth

8. Best experience while DJing?

All my best experiences were centered around jamming live together with musicians. I’ve had an unforgettable  experience at Totem Festival where I got to play with two drummers as well as with the amazing singer Phao Sanato and ESSEX who added some flute sounds. 

Worst experience while DJing?

Didn’t really have many bad experiences. One time I arrived at the venue and found the DJ booth completely unprepared. Cables lying around, DJ equipment and speakers not connected. The staff didn’t know how to connect it and the sound guy was not on place. I decided to connect and prepare the equipment myself. The hospitality was also not great at the place. I appreciate when clubs provide a great and professional  atmosphere. When I organize events I put a strong emphasis on these aspects. It is important for me for the artist to feel great.

His passion is for Funk and Groove built on a solid foundation bassline with a sprinkle of our synthedelic and/or Punk & an air of psychedelic electro with a shamanic voodoo vibe. He grew up with the music of many influence from Synth, Nu Wave,Punk, Indie and early Dance culture, key stand outs thou Chicago House and Detroit Techno. After arriving in NewYork in the early 90's after graduation in Architectural Graphic design, cutting his teeth in A multi culture with many influences. This vibe influenced his sense of rhythm and energy which is felt in his selection and passion for good Music. Having a broad but particular range which has something else within a very provocative and unique sound moving with eternal yet an earthy journey. Buying 12" from the initial providers such as Submerge Detriot. Worked in the Music business for many years with BPM records as a buyer of all Electronic/House/Techno with a major focus on these genres and 12" Vinyl as a media. 

Playing DJ gigs in Ireland, UK, Europe in the early days having a few regular and Irregular slots ultimately a residency at South Club Tramore. 
GBN is always drawn to the evolution of Music in its many forms and keeps the freshness and energy alive as it moves into the 21st Century.
