Rise was written in a moment of fun and frivolity with that (often rare) feeling that everything’s going to be ok. It’s an anthem to all the times we fall, or feel like we are drowning, or when we’ve gone the wrong way down the wrong track, that even in these moments, we, just like the tides or the dust, will always rise again. Giving off some playful ‘Motown vibes’, Rise has that full sound of a big band complete with solid horn lines, definitive tambourine & strong backing vocals. A fun song to leave you feeling empowered and free!
