A journey through some of the genres that you'll get to listen in 95 Open Tabs. A story based on the calm but heavily inspired by the storm, which tries to escape from the world we live in while we sit on a sofa where only people we love have sat before.

A tribute to my home and to the calm that floods me every time I walk through the door. To the peace that only music gives me, nevermind if slow or accelerated, nevermind if ambient or heavy bass tunes. It hugs me. 

A hiding place is a hole in existence and a non-place which is in fact more of a "place" than any other. A safe place. 

In my hiding place there is usually water. Water connects me to everything and to the land where I was born and transports me to the calm and to the salty waters of Gijón.

This hour has been a hiding place  :)

In the spirit of the intention of 'dubs', comes a new series, Echo Chamber Music, consisting of open ended manipulations of minimal JK FLESH 4/4 'techno' tracks, loosely traversing the 'industrial dub techno' concept (some vague meeting point between early industrial music e.g Throbbing Gristle, etc, and dub techno pioneers Basic Channel); gritty dub techno tracks reduced and inverted, indulging in the endless possibilities of the application of the processes of dub through dirt...

The series was intended to begin in 2021 with this first volume, but due to clashes with other project releases around the period, the series was put on hold until now - Nov 2024....

The Moscow duo Vacuum (soundcloud.com/vacuuuuum) looks at you with a piercing gaze from the cover of our new podcast (the eyes belong to the guys), gently takes your hand, and invites you to dive together into the dark-dub obscurities of the 90s and return back to modernity to find worthy counterparts. Oh, those basslines from the rabbit hole, calling out to the unknown… the gloomy art-dub along with the otherworldly trip-hop knocks the ground out from under your feet and sends you on a journey through your own subconscious.
