We are happy to release our label's anniversary compilation called X. A label showcase and an inside peek at our musical DNA, with art for this occasion by the virtuoso Rosenfeldtown.

When we, Emiel and Daksinamurti decided to start the label we wouldn't have dreamed of how it turned out. Now after almost 12 years of running the label we are still amazed by the amount of creativity this psychedelic scene has to offer. A lot of art and music still inspire us, and we are happy to have contributed to the psychedelic culture with what we do. Our mission statement hasn't changed since the day we started – to release psychedelic music away from stereotypes and stubborn boundaries.

Steadily working deeper and deeper into his musical style and productions Magik is now proud to share with the world his debut album.  'The Land of Cosmic Speculation' is a bold collection of dance-floor rippling tracks created by an artist that made so many fellow artists and producers sit-up and take-note when he first arrived on the scene with a bang!!  A stickler for detail with a wide knowledge of sound design and production from his countless hours working in pro-studios, Magik has created an album that will be loved by DJ's and fans alike.

Opening the album in a classic warm and inviting style is a collaboration with his friends, and the much revered, Tromesa.  Things then really shift up a gear, with no stopping, as Magik rips through his signature heavy grooving bass-lines, gritty riffs and big bubbly leads, finding a new melodicism along the way leading to anthemic moments that will undoubtedly continue to ignite dance-floors for years to come.    

Known for his many collaborations and always bringing something extra to the table, Magik also features some new and some updated collaborations with the likes of Ingrained Instincts, Faders and Tristan, making for an album full of flavours and cosmic wonderment!

"Mantis Mundi" is inspired by the phenomenal painting by the visionary and artistic genius Robert Steven Connett, and revolves around musicality in insects. The tiny, adorable, fascinating, and often alien-like creatures use sound to great advantage in trying to earn a living in a resource-limited, and frequently hostile, environment – making sounds like instrumentalists through specialized body parts and using many methods and techniques. Here is a selection of tracks I played during Forestival Gathering in France. 
My goal on this mix was to bring together on the dance-floor people that use to listen psytrance and others not as this festival is based on wellness and self-discovery, it aims to bring together people from all walks of life.
So I decided to go more slowly in my musical choices in order to bring the energy of trance to as many dancers as possible.
I really enjoyed to play this selection and I hope you will enjoy to listen it too !!!

TIP Record's DJ/Producer Lucas O'Brien is back with the sequel to his highly acclaimed, chart-topping compilation 'Avant Garden' (2015) which features a selection of tried and tested sonically diverse tracks by some of his favourite artists that he's been playing in his DJ sets worldwide. For this project, Lucas sourced music from what he considers the most cutting edge, pioneering producers on the scene - Hallucinogen, Raja Ram, Ingrained Instincts, Outsiders, Laughing Buddha, Martian Arts, Earthspace, Audio Unit and Everblast - as well as being substantially involved in the production side himself under his various guises: 'SuperModule' (his solo project), 'Mandelbrot' (his project with Celli 'Earthling') and 'Sybarite' his project with Ric Featherstone. The compilation begins with one of Lucas' trademark introductions, once again collaborating with label founder Raja Ram. Designed to tickle the eardrums and get your body moving, Avant Garden II represents the flow of a psychedelic trance dance party by kicking off with a slower and groovier vibe, then building up the pace and intensity steadily as the album progresses... eventually reaching a more night-time style peak, whilst still keeping Lucas' characteristic funky element in the tunes. Towards the end of the album, the music transitions into a more dawn friendly style to land you safely onto a blissful cloud of psychedelia. As was the case with the first Avant Garden, Lucas used the exquisite artwork of TIP favourite visionary artist Brahma Templeman, this time commissioning a painting exclusively for the cover which illustrates a beautiful psychedelic garden. It is a true honor for us to have Joe, a humble painter, and a director on the legendary Family Guy tv series, whose art is also used as the work of a character named Goliath on Syfy channel's Resident Alien. This 17-track release can show a glimpse of our repertoire and we assure you it will keep you moving and grooving in the quintessential sangomesque fashion. We want to thank everyone who has been supporting us on this path.

Ingrained Instincts - Ikigai

Ingrained Instincts is a unique project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos, and Dafy Deliangelos from Greece. Both have shared the same passion for Psychedelic music since their very early days. They met in 2001, formed a project together, and started to develop a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic, and funky! 

After many years of experimentation, the Ingrained Instincts project was born in 2014. Their sound could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box – definitely different and organic sounding. For their production they use analogue as well as digital hardware, and are building their own modular system. Tilemachos also has a downtempo project called “Escape Velocity”, with releases on Spiral Trax, Sonic Loom and Eardream Music amongst other labels. Ingrained Instincts are signed with Sangoma Records and so far released on TIP Records, Nano Records, Future Music Records, Blacklite Records and more. Ingrained Instincts have been busy touring around the globe and have performed live at some of the biggest festivals of the Psytrance scene such as Boom, Ozora, Universo Paralello, Sonica, Antaris, FreeEarth, Indian Spirit, Kosmos and many others… 

This is one project you have to keep an ear out for, because before you know it you’ll be dancing away. Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.

Daksinamurti (दक्षिणामूर्ति) is a psychedelic trance artist, ethnologist, label manager and producer from Marburg, Germany. Together with his friend Emiel he founded and runs the label Sangoma Records.
Till has been performing at events and festivals worldwide since the year 2000.
Upon discovering Goatrance on the beaches of India in the early 90’s, Daksinamurti developed a diverse and insatiable thirst for studying the effects of psychedelic music on the body and mind. Combined with his passion of anthropology, his journey in music has been distinguished by his desire to discover and the depths of psychoacoustic application in music. Far from predictable, his sound can be described as Sangomesque music - a forest friendly trance inducing experience with a range that covers the entire spectrum of light onto dark.  Till enjoys playing extended sets far from predictability and stereotypes in order to create a colorful, energetic journey suitable for dance floors at any hour of the party.

Dhira was hit by music from his earliest childhood, since then he has continued to develop his own sensitivity to sound and the creative part of his life.
Trained as a drummer, his first contact with the musical universe of the electronic scene would completely change his life.
He decided to become a dj in the mid-90s, to share his sense of rhythm and partying. He then began to mix in events in the South-East of France, participate in the development of parties with the "Body and Mind" collective, host a radio show "Astral Communication" and share stages with prestigious artists and founders of electronic music.
From there, his passion for music continued to guide him on a journey filled with encounters across the globe and its dancefloors (Brazil, Croatia, France, India, Japan, Indonesia, Morocco, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey).
He joined the Swiss label PEAK RECORDS in 2007 and collaborated with the famous duo YabYum and Ajja. In 2016, continuing his search for new experiences, he joined alongside the artists of Digital Shamans Records and released four compilations, bringing together prestigious artists such as:

BIOGRAPHY

Ozzy Cetin, originally from Turkey and now based in London, is a renowned psytrance DJ known by aliases such as Mysticism, Wired, Ramizes, and Freetech. He is the driving force behind Crystal Kids, a Manchester-based community organizing psytrance events.

His journey into DJing began in 2004 in Eskisehir, Turkey, under the moniker 'RAMIZES,' where he showcased progressive and full-on psychedelic trance at his events. Over the years, he expanded his repertoire, introducing 'MYSTICISM' for psychill and 'FREETECH' for darkpsy in 2013. From 2011 to 2014, Ozzy immersed himself in Turkey's psytrance scene, participating in major indoor and outdoor events both as a crew member and DJ.

Ozzy's talent gained international recognition, leading him to perform at prestigious festivals such as OZORA, Earthcore, Boomtown, Sonica, Free-Earth, One Tribe, and The Beat-Herder from 2014 to 2017. As techno began to blend seamlessly with psytrance, Ozzy embraced this fusion, forming the alter ego 'WIRED' in 2019 to explore zenonesque, dark progressive, psygressive, and psytech sounds.

His prowess behind the decks earned him 'The Best DJ Set' awards at online competitions hosted by Earthcore Festival (Australia, 2015), Primitive Festival (Morocco, 2016), Psymera (UK, 2017), and Strange Daze (UK, 2017).

Since 2004, Ozzy has performed at countless international psytrance events, with a detailed bookings list available on his Soundcloud profile, where he meticulously curates each set with a unique tracklist. His Soundcloud playlists stand out as a definitive collection of the genre's best tracks, showcasing the talent of psytrance artists worldwide.

Since 2015, Ozzy has been actively organizing events in both Turkey and the UK, further cementing his role as a prominent figure in the global psytrance community.

Onur Pekinöz aka PACK was born in Istanbul. He started mixing tracks as a Dj at 2010. By that time he was playing house / techno. Psytrance was calling him so hard and he started play psytrance in 2013. Since then he played at almost all indoor psytrance parties in Istanbul. In 2014-2019 summers he was in the line up at all outdoor festivals in Turkey. He continues him career on the Asia Continent right now. He plays progressive psytrance and twilight as well as psydub as a resident DJ at Crystal Kids.
