So proud to finally release this mashup that I've been working on for a long time!
At first I tried in Ableton, but it couldn't figure out the BPM and I couldn't get it to sound good, and I was almost ready to give up on it.

But then I figured I'd try to mash it live in Virtual DJ instead, and I'm truly amazed at how well it went.

Both of these songs have immense nostalgic value to me. 

The Brainstorm track was on a mixtape by Robert Leiner that I got hold of in 1992 called 'Chill in Deep', which was the first recording of a perfect beatmix I'd ever heard, it blew my mind, every song was mixed in tempo and often matched in pitch as well.

Really changed my view of what a really good DJ can do.
I lost the tape in the early 90's, and so did the others I knew who had it.

I was giddy with excitement when I stumbled upon TZ8 again on YouTube by chance, that feeling of hearing a song you really love that you had almost forgotten existed is fantastic.

Inocybe (Dr Fernando & a friend) also blew my mind in 1993, it was the first "perfect" Acid track I'd heard, excellent drums, shrieking 303 and still with a musicality and warmth that I found missing in most Acid back then.

So glad they complement each other, hope you enjoy it too!
