I primarily play nylon-stringed flamenco guitars but occasionally play a steel-stringed acoustic guitar.  I'm a flamenco aficionado but I would describe my style as world jazz with flamenco overtones.  Most of my compositions are guitar duets.  I see music as a form of conversation so duets lend themselves well to this concept.

Mike Moore a.k.a. MIKE BY NAME is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, writer, and producer from the small town of East Kingston, NH known for his heavy rock n’ roll outfit Fire in the Field’s long career touring and releasing music every year since 2014.  His band garnered multiple New England Music Award and Boston Music Award nominations as well as song placements in nationally syndicated television shows.
Mike is now based in NYC having graduated from BerkleeNYC within the legendary Power Station Recording Studio with a master's in Songwriting & Production.
MIKE BY NAME has been described as having “bluesman swagger and a punk heart.”  He channels Hendrix via Prince with the ability to turn on a dime from falsetto pleading to a bluesy wailing through his vocal grit or Les Paul guitar, aptly named “Mortimer.”


All songs are written, produced, performed, and arranged by Mike Moore on The Vibe Operator (coming 2023), The Holy Egg (2022) as well as his previous two albums, Social Murder Meditation (2019), and Funky Blood (2018).
The first single coming Feb. 10th, 2023 of Mike Moore’s a.k.a. MIKE BY NAME’s fourteen song sci-fi rock opera is “I’ve Got To Be The One”, a dancy profession of eternal commitment to his one true love.  New ground for MIKE BY NAME, the song features no heavy riffs or wailing lead guitar and is sonically inspired by artists like The Glass Animals and Daft Punk.  “I’ve Got To Be The One” remains a tight indie pop package to dance with your valentine to. Written, performed, produced, and recorded by MIKE BY NAME, the song is simply about being proud to surrender to love.  As stories books say, surrendering makes one’s life light to the touch and deep in passion.  And in a society hell bent on making you miserable, it should be a celebration every time a member sidesteps existential dread for true partnership.  It’s time to boogie on in the dream.  Confess to your lover: “I’ve Got To Be The One.”

I like to make sounds with fruity loops, I'm in the process of writing a few rhymes as well, I mainly use fruity loops for hip hop, but sometimes i just make strange shit for fun.

Ryan Judd is a Billboard Chart Topping recording artist and is an internationally known music therapist. His unique background as a music therapist and an accomplished fingerstyle guitarist allows him to bring music and well-being into harmony with each other. One of Ryan’s first experiences of the transformative power of music came when he was a young music therapy student going to see his grandmother for the last time. As he walked down the hall with his mom and brother by his side, everything felt cold, melancholy and sterile. The smell of disinfectant was in the air. Ryan entered his grandmother’s dark room and took out his guitar. The music he played broke through the isolation, sadness and fear. After the last notes faded, and tears welled in her eyes, she whispered, “That was good for my heart.” 

In addition to being inspired by healing experiences such as this and his work as a music therapist, Ryan is deeply influenced by guitarist Michael Hedges. When Ryan first saw Michael Hedges play, he was overwhelmed by emotion and knew that he had discovered something that would forever change the course of his life. Ryan has spent decades dedicating himself to mastering fingerstyle guitar and creating his own unique style as a performer and a composer.
