The latest entry to the Enemy catalog comes courtesy of Lonefront, a Minneapolis based producer. He performs live regularly at The Great Beyond and Intellephunk events as well as an appearance DVS1's Wall of Sound event in Los Angeles.

Spanning 4 tracks, the vibe on Pronoia is unapologetically puristic. The EP leans heavily towards hypnotic dream-state techno with a softer approach. Messier Object stands as the EP's banger, emphasizing polymeter and and all out 909 assault on the senses. While the other tracks are less muscular, they double down on a submersive/aquatic tip that is equally captivating.

Pronoia: a state of mind that is the opposite of paranoia. Whereas a person suffering from paranoia feels that persons or entities are conspiring against them, a person experiencing pronoia believes that the world around them conspires to do them good.

This set is a culmination of my body of work up to this point with the first half being all originals.  After that I mix in work from others.

A word of warning, at first, you may find this set uncomfortable. It sounds familiar and you sit in a  space that feels nice and then I change it up. I say “You were good with this, but let me now make you feel something entirely different. It may be challenging for you, but I promise you can handle it”

I also threw in a small live PA performance in the set, which has now become a tradition of mine at The Great Beyond. Huge thank you to Intellephunk for allowing me the opportunity to perform for you all on the Communion Stage. It was superb and I am forever grateful to have a temple to spread my message from.

Huge thank you to Carlos for asking me to come play, to Intellephunk for running sound and hosting the space, Splitta for running visuals, all the other artists performing and of course the most important the dancers and guests. You all made me feel so loved and heard.

From the fertile underground of Minneapolis dance music, @malion-sound (né Clinton Kunhardt) emerges to bring you on a journey through space, time, soul, and mind. Spending their formative years branching out from the hedonic, energetic house party scene into full-scale rave operations such as SYSTEM and Intellephunk, Malion went on to temper their steely chops, co-founding the audio-visual collective Bound Space and starting their own event productions under the Eleusis flag. With mixes released on midwest staples Format.FM and Flyover, an audio-visual EP released under the Bound Space imprint, and another EP on the way for early 2025, Malion has shown a tireless dedication to dancefloor innovation and musical exploration. Pulling from the archives this week: this snippet was taken from Communion in Minneapolis on 7/6/25 warming up the patio for WWW & Christian James. This was ~30 days after me snapping my collar bone in Chicago. I was originally supposed to spin alongside fellow excavator Jeffrey but the timing didn't work out so I took it solo... and kept it even after I was down an arm. Happy with how it transpired all things considered. I probably could've stuck to the USB but I mean, what fun would that've been? ;)
