At The Scene

“Echo” started as a song I dedicated to my wife. Not from the excitement of falling in love, but from the moment when love becomes something deeper and more complicated. 

While writing the lyrics, I realized how much our relationship had changed. It wasn’t just passion anymore; it was something built through conversations, silence, doubts, decisions, and the lessons we’ve learned together. 

That space between who we used to be and who we are now is where this song came to life.

The idea for the song appeared during a moment when simple romance wasn’t enough. I understood that real love means accepting imperfections, staying even when things aren’t easy, and knowing that the person you love isn’t just a fantasy - they’re a real human being with layers, flaws, and depth. 

While I was searching for a sequenced synth sound, the repeating pattern reminded me of how certain feelings always return, like an echo you can’t ignore. That became the heart of the song.
Musically, “Echo” blends alternative rock with electronic elements. It has atmospheric guitars, heavy synths, and vocals that carry emotion without hiding vulnerability. 

The song doesn’t try to present love as perfect. Instead, it shows love as it truly is: something that challenges you, shapes you, and becomes a place where you feel at home—even when you don’t fully understand every step of the journey.

For me, this song represents a more honest version of myself. Not a fantasy, not a perfect image—just the truth. Love isn’t always simple, but it’s in the doubts, the effort, and the things that won’t let go where something real survives.

Founded by Jez Stephen, who incepted all the projects, the label has released over 30 albums, crafting a unique sonic identity across genres.
