‘Put the Record on’ is about spending time alone with the one you love. 
Imagine it being like on a Sunday morning, when the city is quiet, and you’re finally together, at home, with the one you love, spending that quality time together. 

Having a  busy life can make the world move fast. 
This song is about slowing things down and appreciating the life and love you have, and making every precious moment count.  

It’s about putting on that special record you both love, while you both sit back and relax, listening to that song together. It puts love where it’s meant to be. 
This song is a reminder that love comes first above all things. 
Put the record on, enhances the mood for an audience set only for two.
