Death of a Reverie

We keep bumping heads and losing balance because you lead with your head and lace your love in malice. I don’t care for the palace. I don’t care for the status. I care for the tenderness of the touch, the strength of the connection, the authenticity of the looks and language, and if the beams balance. It took me too long to realize just how damaged you are, and how badly I was suffocating from the toxic fumes. I give you grace for our differences but you’re not emotionally mature enough to reciprocate. Alas, I realize how blinded I’ve been by potential and promise. Dear in Headlights.

You sit by the window, knees pulled to your chest, watching the city blur through the rain. The world keeps moving — glowing, breathing — but you’re somewhere else entirely. Inside, everything is still. Heavy. Silent. There are no words left to say, no more light to guide you. Only the quiet hum of sorrow and the soft beat of a heart that no longer hopes.

“No Light Inside” is a fragile cry wrapped in synthpop textures — slow, delicate, and raw. With every note, it captures that moment when the weight of the world settles in your chest, and all you can do is feel. It doesn’t ask for healing.
