A letter from every woman in my ancestral lineage to her mother, acknowledging the generational cycle of ‘the mother wound’ and beyond.

The experience of feeling different, broken, backwards as far back as you can remember... then receiving an affirmation of that feeling from society, religion and/or culture, put in boxes as women who (especially generations back) had no other option.

The pain of that experience is then echoed as our mothers, who knew no other way, often channel that pain into their relationship with their daughters. “I know, you were tired of all the ways they treated you — and I know, you didn’t mean it so that I would suffer too.”

An ambient diary from Samara. Sounds of rain against the window, violins screaming through sirens, and techno cut off mid-breath. EP «The fading of memories» — three tracks about what slips away. No pathos here. Just ambient, glitch, and electronics — like a muffled scream into a pillow. I write music by: Catching raw sounds (door hinges, fridge hum, the Volga’s whisper). Crushing them in Ableton. Adding basslines that shake like hands after a panic attack. Don’t wait for the drop — it vanished with my 2021 plans.
