Plus award-winning psychotherapist Shirin Amani Azeri joins from London to reflect on her remote work with political prisoners in Iran at present. Finally put the IRGC on the terrorist list,” and discusses the European Parliament decision about the same issue as well as the new social media momentum around Reza Pahlavi.

I am releasing this track to help bring attention to the ongoing protests in Iran. The people of Iran, particularly the women, have been fighting for their rights and freedom for far too long. The recent death of Mahsa Amini in police custody has sparked a new wave of protests and has brought to light the ongoing oppression faced by the Iranian people.

The Iranian government has a long history of suppressing dissent and violating human rights. The people of Iran have been denied their basic rights, including freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and freedom of the press. The Iranian regime has also been known to use violence and intimidation to silence those who dare to speak out against their oppressive policies.

But in the face of this oppression, the people of Iran have not given up. They have risen up and taken to the streets, demanding their rights and calling for change. The women of Iran, in particular, have been at the forefront of these protests, leading the charge and inspiring others to join in.

These protests are not just about one individual's death, but also about the systemic oppression and human rights violation that have been happening for decades. It is about the long-standing struggle for freedom and equality.

We must support the people of Iran in their struggle for freedom and democracy. We must raise our voices in solidarity with the protesters and call for an end to the repression and violence inflicted on them by the Iranian government.

Let us stand in solidarity with the people of Iran and demand an end to the oppressive policies of the Iranian regime. We must support the women of Iran who are leading the way in the fight for freedom and democracy.

"Tavanayi-haye-hijani" (توانایی های هیجانی) is the name of this track because it reflects the powerful and resilient spirit of the women who are leading the protests in Iran.
