Freefall is the first half of a concept album due to drop in 2024 called Pendulum State. The album sonically and thematically mirrors the arc of a pendulum and describes 0Stella's own journey through addiction recovery. Freefall is the first of the two mini albums to come from it, taking the listener on an exhilarating journey from the harrowing emptiness of isolation to the euphoric delight of hedonism and empowerment of recovering a sense of ownership of your autonomy. 0Stella deftly blends Canadian rock with her native traditional Irish instrumentation and sense of storytelling. Her brand of alternative rock is steeped with infectious hooks and lyrics to keep you turning the record over and over.

I’m Tommy Stewart, an independent artist and guitarist who writes, records, and produces my own original rock and blues music. My sound is a blend of gritty guitar riffs, soulful melodies, and raw emotion, influenced by the legends of blues and rock.

0Stella [oh-Stella] is the solo project of Edmonton-based, Irish-Canadian artist Liz Pomeroy. Ruthlessly authentic alt-rock blend with traditional Irish fiddle to create catchy pop melodies with oft-politically charged lyrics drenched in irony and rebelliousness. Reminiscent of Garbage, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, St. Vincent, PJ Harvey and The Frames, 0Stella’s music is both socially conscious and confessional. 

Little Yes, Little Know, 0Stella’s debut EP, will be released in 2019. It was produced and recorded by JUNO-nominated, Brad Simons (Nuela Charles, Adult Contemporary Album of the Year, 2019), at his Velveteen Audio studio in Edmonton. The four-track EP features righteous rock songs amongst shimmering fiddle with lush, brooding laments. 0Stella says, “Brad was able to balance my love for sonic intimacy with blistering riot-rock”.
