The Coyote guys have taken this track on a wonderful journey to the White Isle and given it a very distinct Coyote downtempo feel, perfect for those late afternoons into evening sessions.

Ushering in the summer season with a heavy dose of balearica are Coyote. Hailing from Nottingham, Timm Sure & Ampo are veterans of the UK acid house movement and are now purveying sublime eclectic music through their IsItBalearic? and Magic Wand labels. The 'B' word is oft over used these days to describe any old noodly nonsense, but Coyote retain the original balearic spirit designed for dancefloors and good times. Look out for our own EP on IsItBalearic Recordings later this year.

Flip the 12” for “Sunset Ballad”, a near ten-minute epic that more than lives up to its’ name. Soft, delay-laden acoustic guitar passages and yearning electric piano flourishes set the tone, before the Parma-based production duo gradually up the pressure via a shuffling groove, whispering acid lines and quietly bubbling synthesizers. It’s undeniably rich and life affirming, but best appreciated while lying flat on your back. 

Dirty Bolas will be featured on the duo’s second album 'Rivea Corymbosa', which is slated for release in the final quarter of 2016. For now, you’ll have to make do with these two slices of seductive, sun-bright brilliance.

Clandestino have been involved in Leeds' underground music scene for over 20 years; regularly throwing diverse parties and inviting exciting DJ talent. Their esoteric style of dance music has gained them gigs at some of Europe’s premier club spots such as Renate in Berlin, Stalingrad in Paris, Geneva’s La Graviere and Powerhouse in Moscow in addition to being regular fixtures on the discerning festival circuit. Their monthly show on KMAH Radio is deemed essential and their podcast series is revered world wide for showcasing regular mixes from high caliber and lesser known DJ's.
