PhDJ Assignment Info: This is a connection ritual. 20 of my friends are travelling to The Phillipines together this week and I will play this set for them Filipino beach. There is a lot of fun in this set, created with beautiful vocals and satisfying beats. There are remixes of a few songs my friends know, to engage them with the process, and some gnarly moments designed to get them moving and transmuting... I want them to experience a real 4, which I know they will only be ready for with a careful 1-2-3. I experimented with some titration this week - taking them into a strong 3 then giving a breather, as I know this group need this. I will open and close the ritual with spoken word relating to the richness of the connections we are cultivating by taking this trip together.

She began her 20-year love affair with music by selecting tunes to light up the room at afterparties, then transitioned to the DJ booth to set fire to docile dancefloors and welcome the wildness, softness, tension, stillness and fierceness that exist in all of us. Bring it ALL! 

Drawing from her knowledge of nervous system regulation, power dynamics, ritual, sex, and the tantric art of DJing, she crafts sets that are infused with lyrical feminine energy, electrifying melodies, and dirty basslines. With roots in house and flavors of techno, drum & bass, and soul, Eliza's music urges you to let the beat enter your bones and luxuriate in the juicy chaos of living. 

Eliza produces events around the SF Bay Area, including leading the SF chapter of Support Women DJs. She draws inspiration and support from the badass communities of DJs at Powerhouse DJ School and The Score Collective.
