KMHL's Vintage Vinyl Christmas turns to one of the most popular performers of the 60's and 70s, Glen Campbell.  Sometimes when you buy a record with your favorite artist's face on the album cover, you expect that record to be full of songs performed by that artist.  Look closer at 1971's "Christmas with Glen Campbell" and underneath Glen's name you'll see in much smaller print "and the Hollywood Pops Orchestra and The Voices of Christmas".  Upon listening you'd find out that Glen is on just 5 of the 10 songs and one of those is a recitation of "The Night Before Christmas".  A lesson to be learned the hard way!  The back of the album also has some very glowing things to say about "America's favorite entertainer".  None the less, enjoy a medley from the Hollywood Pops Orchestra and Glen's rendition of "I'll be Home For Christmas".
