私は海のように青い... The year is 1983, and Portuguese artist Sebastião "Tim" Maia has just set sail for the high seas. And as a result, not only did this voyage earn him an invitation to this event, but it also awakened something deep inside Maia's existential soul. It was then when his stand, 「O DESCOBRIDOR DOS SETE MARES」first manifested. So before you start asking him for calmness, ask yourself this: Are you sure that nobody can live for ever?

The motivation of a seafarer to travel usually varies: Some do it for riches, some do it for exploration's sake, some out of desperation and some merely for the adrenaline of it. But Maia's a kinder soul, despite what his new appearance and his newly acquired stand may show, as he seems to travel merely for the beauty of it all. Hopefully it's all smooth sailing for him from here on out.
