The 7th compilation of JFNS, reflects a range of hypnotic sounds, encompassing styles such as sci-fi, deep, and raw. Despite their differences, all tracks share a common essence, making this album a truly unique offering. 

Within the album, you will find the following tracks, composed of remixes from the original authors and exceptional artists known as "Ness" and "Laima Adelaide", all of whom are passionate about sound design and attention to detail: 

"Jorge Fons - Live of Senses" sets the tone with a sci-fi and deep sound. Throughout the track, listeners are taken on a journey, immersing themselves in a high-quality sonic hypnosis. This is followed by the remix by Obscur, which adds a raw edge while maintaining the sci-fi essence that distinguishes the track, undoubtedly a remix that listeners will enjoy. The final version of this track is composed by Laima Adelaide, a deep, danceable reshape that pays close attention to detail. Upon listening, it transports us to landscapes that evoke happiness. 

"Obscur - In over your Head" stands out as a testament to Obscur's signature quality sound. Modular and trippy, it's a journey that will be greatly enjoyed on the dance floor. This is followed by Ness's version, a track that immediately captivates with its cool vibe and subtle details that set it apart. Without a doubt, a remix that will get people dancing. Finally, Jorge Fons's reconstruction takes us back to that spacey landscape, this time in a deeper and more linear manner, achieving musical hypnosis. 

"Soundscape" is undeniably a comprehensive and original album, encompassing many facets of hypnotic sound. It is a compilation that showcases both quality and a deep passion for music.

'Synthopia' marks the debut vinyl release from Wabi Sabi Audio Imprint. This album traverses diverse spectrums of hypnotic and deep sounds, offering a glimpse into what listeners can expect from future Wabi Sabi releases.

Featuring a line-up of authentic artists showcasing their craft without boundaries, it enlists Mary Yuzovskaya, Tauceti, Jorge Fons, ORBE, Samuli Kemppi, Elias Garcia and Tuber.

Jorge Fons is also the label boss of Wabi Sabi and whose track caught our ear. The Spanish artist also lists releases on other great labels like Nastia's NECHTO, Ketch's SYXT, Insolate's Out of Place and Diffuse Reality.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track "Guide to Destiny" with a sci-fi aesthetic. Looping modular tones intertwine and morph to create some trippy textures, tension is palbable through its entirety, and this fascinating analogue adventure draws you into its web of sound.

✈ We are delighted to welcome Spanish dj and producer based in Utrecht: JORGE FONS.

Starting his beginnings in electronic music at the age of 14, Jorge has honed his skills as both DJ and producer, giving a main focus to hypnotic and deep techno, as we can hear in this session.

He has played in events and clubs both in Madrid and Holland, clubs like Basis and Radion, collectives like Bunkers and Upper in Madrid, to name a few.

In addition, his recording career leaves us music on labels such as Nechto, Out of Place or Immaterial Archives, among others. We can also find his record label JFNS and Wabi Sabi.

PARADOX PODCAST #178 -- JORGE FONS

Twisting and turning, like a live animal dancing through the air, Helium (Live Extract) gives a sense of movement and looseness that only a live performance can give. The flexing of voices and the undulating elements drifting and snapping back into form keep the ears attention locked in. Initially the track starts off fairly simple with a few textures and drum patterns, drawing listeners in, before adding in a spiraling melody and marching kick drums that ratchet the energy up. As the track progresses, various melodic synths are sprinkled throughout that add a sense of unpredictability.

Forthcoming on the Dutch imprint, Wabi Sabi Audio, Elisa Batti & Jorge Fons have come together for the next release, titled Yugen (幽玄). Focusing on creating a variety of rhythms, the two artists have finished off a 5 track release, that ranges from Ambient, to disjointed club time stompers.

Expect to see the Yugen released on August 22nd, via Bandcamp.
