Adam Rajab’s musical evolution tells many tales but the origins lie deep in his sound design background. The Lebanese producer/composer shaped his own path in electronic music with his imprint Al Gharib which has made an incredible impact through its humanitarian projects and local underground raves since its genesis in 2018. As a composer, Rajab has notably scored feature length films, experimental Mercedes Benz campaigns and provided musical branding for high fashion houses. He records under his monikers Adam Rajab, Omrann and Kendojubaki. 

"This mix combines early 2000 classics and some of my closest of friends music who happen to be my favourite producers right now. Its my first time incorporating vinyl turntables into the mix which is a blessing as I’m able to finally share some rare classics."

Berlin-based producer Pascal Hetzel’s 2022 album ASLM gets a fresh reimagining with the ASLM Remixes LP. Featuring reworks by a handpicked selection artists, this remix collection breathes new life into the original tracks, offering a diverse range of sounds that stay true to the album’s dystopian and futuristic essence.

The remix LP opens with JakoJako’s take on RBBRMN, transforming the track into a broken-beat cut with pitched-down electronics. It’s an ideal opener, setting a futuristic and moody tone that draws you in. Next, GAEL reworks TWST into a bass-heavy, hypnotic cut. With underwater-y atmospheres, ethereal textures, and a stomping kick drum, the track builds into an emotional sequence that feels both haunting and cathartic.

Kaiser steps up with a deep and groovy remix of SLT, delivering a driving force from start to finish. Liquid synths, frantic pads, and bell-like percussion create a sense of momentum that pulls you into oblivion. Projekt Gestalten takes SLT in his own direction, injecting acid textures and frantic atmospheres into the mix. This version is raw, dirty, and guaranteed to ignite chaos on late-night sets.

Closing the LP, Luis Flores reimagines PPPR as a noisy, power-driven cut. Balancing emotion with relentless energy, Flores adds his signature touch of controlled madness, making it a standout.

The ASLM Remixes LP not only pays homage to Pascal Hetzel’s original vision but also showcases the versatility of his work through the unique perspectives of each remixer.

Set to release on April 4th, 2025, via Arkham Audio.

Berlin-based JakoJako has meticulously compiled this new compilation for Air Texture with the aim of spotlighting the deep bonds among hardware-focused producers. Featuring standout tracks from top dogs like Rødhåd, Acid Pauli and The Field, the collection reflects a shared musical language built through machines and their ability to convey the emotions of their human users, often with a rough, dusty edge that makes them all the more realistic. Drawing on the metaphor of a hardwired synthesiser that is pre-connected and instantly functional, the release celebrates unspoken creative kinship between the two with everything from deep, heads down late night dancers from Regent to more lithe and elastic rhythms from Mareena alongside JakoJako herself.

"Hardwired" draws its conceptual foundation from synthesizer terminology. As JakoJako explains: "A hardwired synth has connections already soldered into the machine—it comes with certain functions without needing to patch cables externally. As a hardware producer, I feel whenever I meet someone who creates music as I do, we have this immediate connection, like a hardwired synthesizer. There's no need for small talk—we can speak about gear."

About – Vincent Montoya
Vincent Montoya developed a great passion for techno music at a very early age. Growing up by the Baltic Sea, the rough and gentle sides of the sea are reflected in his track selection and mixing. He chooses his tracks carefully. He packs them with emotion, openness, sensitivity and skillful mixing into sets that capture the intimacy of the moment in front of an audience, in a club or at a festival. His mostly very long, rough and raw austerity and at the same time never-ending driving, pulsating, grooving and hypnotic textures reflect his open and creative understanding of techno as a musical style and as a lived culture. With the diversity of his tracks and his boundless understanding of art, he creates a fluid plasticity that diffuses boundaries and creates a new space without merely playing in it. At the same time, his more compressed and shorter sets don’t lack either impulsiveness nor creativity. Nevertheless, he always takes a step back and puts the sound in the foreground, which is gratefully accepted by the audience.
Vincent Montoya has over 20 years of professional DJ and event experience. This know-how is reflected in his excellent reputation and has already been successfully administered at his own events as well as been highly valued at numerous bookings for events, bars, clubs and festivals.

Behutsam wählt er seine Tracks. Verpackt sie mit Emotionen, Offenheit, Sensibilität und einem gekonnten Mixing in Sets, die die Intimität des Moments von Publikum, Club und Festival einfängt. Seine zumeist sehr langen, von rauer wie schroffer Strenge und gleichsam von nie enden wollender treibender, pulsierender, groovender und hypnotischer Textur geprägten Sets spiegeln sein offenes und kreatives Verständnis für Techno als Musikstil sowie als gelebte Kultur wieder.
