My first special guest on the show will be a familiar face and name to many. One of the founding members of @jauntmusic alongside @blackhall_jaunt, Christopher Bookless is one of the best techno dj's I know and his take on ambient, spiritual music is a reflection of the journey he has been on over the last few years.

This is a very special mix, recorded live in Ibiza overlooking the sea, channelling the energy of the island. When I first listened to it I found myself transported to a different time and place, it is proper, proper Ibiza. I've listened to it 3 times already, I'm sure you will all get a lot of mileage from it too.

I follow it up with a mix of my own in the second hour showcasing some new techno records.

September's edition of No Gimmicks features one of the original Jaunt crew (alongside Blackhall and Bookless), good friend of mine and Paramount artists' agent extraordinaire, Chad. Known for his exceptional warmup sets, gaining plaudits from the likes of Ben Klock and DVS1 no less, Chad blends house and techno with deep edges. The detroit sound has always worked well up in the North East, this mix definitely explores the modern decendents of the sound, with more cutting edge, groovy and percussive sounds fans of Kaos Oaks will be familiar with.

In the second hour you get another vinyl only session from me. There is always a stack of records next to my decks. This represents the stuff I've recently bought or pulled from my collection to play throughout the month. I just hit record and see what happens. No Gimmicks as always, just good records.
