Friday Night Funkin' (also known as Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game) is an upcoming rhythm video game developed by Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020. The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin' Crew Inc., which consists primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source. It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s.

The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of opponents in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay involves hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.

The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020. An expanded demo was released on November 1, 2020, with updates continually released in the following months. A full version of the game backed by Kickstarter, titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game, is in development.

Jeff the Killer is a fictional horror character and creepypasta meme that gained popularity following posts by the DeviantArt user "Sesseur" on Newgrounds. He is depicted as a psychotic serial killer with ghastly pale skin, no eyelids and a permanent smile-shaped scar.

Jeff the Killer's original story was created by DeviantArt user "Sesseur," the pseudonym of Jeff Case from Auburndale, Florida. Sesseur began posting on Newgrounds in 2008 under the alias "killerjeff," where they described a Bloody Mary-like ritual that supposedly summoned Jeff. In the original story, Jeff, initially named Jeffrey C. Hodek, "accidentally spilled a bucket of acid on his face while trying to clean his bathtub."

The most notable version of the Jeff the Killer story, which emerged in 2011, follows a teenager named Jeffrey Woods, who is attacked by a group of bullies. The altercation ends with Jeff being nearly arrested for assault, but his brother Liu takes the blame, resulting in his placement in juvenile hall. This event causes Jeff to become depressed and introverted. His concerned parents force him to attend a party, where he encounters the same bullies from the earlier fight. In a violent confrontation, Jeff kills the bullies but is doused with alcohol and set on fire, suffering severe burns over much of his body. After being discharged from the hospital and having his bandages removed, Jeff is horrified by his disfigurement and begins to lose his sanity. He carves a smile-shaped scar into his face, removes his eyelids, and ultimately kills his family. He becomes a serial killer, targeting victims by sneaking into their homes at night. He is known for whispering the phrase "Go to sleep" before killing his victims.
