For years I carried the desire to produce my own song – not just any track, but something that really sounds like the music I grew up with. Before I knew Jesus, I was DJing and completely into hip hop and dancehall. So when it came to creating my first own track, the direction was obvious: it had to hit like a dancehall tune, move people, and still carry something much deeper than just a good vibe.

At the same time, there was a clear fire in my heart:
I didn’t only want to make music – I wanted to share the gospel. I wanted people to hear about Jesus in a language and sound they actually relate to.

That’s how “Good News Boom” was born:
a dancehall / hip hop gospel track that takes the message of Jesus straight into everyday life – into living rooms, cars, headphones and hearts. The lyrics talk about guilt, emptiness, separation from God, and then the turning point: Jesus steps in, takes the punishment on the cross, rises from the dead, and offers real freedom and new identity by grace alone.

The beat brings the energy.
The words bring the Good News.
Together they become what I like to call a “sound gospel” – the gospel preached over riddim and bass.

“Good News Boom” is my way of saying:

There is hope. There is forgiveness.
And this hope has a name: Jesus Christ.
