This week Subterrânea 55th brings you mega talent @dariafomina from Moscow region. She features over 60 mins of pure Progressive House. Keeping the vibes Melody and Groovy from start to finish, Daria takes you into the heart of what Electronic music should be. 

In the beginning, she played on several radio stations of different geographical locations and hosted several exclusive podcasts. At the moment, Daria is a resident of the Frisky Radio (US), where she hosts a two-hour podcast where she invites unique, talented DJs and music producers on her show Oxygen and on DI.FM Progressive Channel (US), Subcode Radio (UK) and DNA Radio FM (AR) where she hosts her one-hour show Purple Sky. 

 @dariafomina has played on Amsterdam Dance Events, Burning Man Project, Hungary and other dance venues in Moscow and Russian cities. Her sounds in mixes are filled with deep and melodic progressive house combined with melodic techno, tech house, deep house, organic house and adding different shades of electronic music.

Subterrânea Episode 055 - Daria Fomina

Underground Colombo (UC) was envisioned by Kushan Dissanayake, and his co-founder, Kasun Dissanayake, who is known as Kais D. This dynamic duo, driven by their shared passion for underground music, embarked on this journey together in 2016.

Inspired by the vibrant energy of Sri Lanka's music scene, they had a vision—to cultivate a close-knit community that immersed itself in the rhythms they cherished. Alongside them was their best friend, Buddika Wijebandara, forming an unbreakable trio.

Their first step was the establishment of a Facebook community, a digital haven for kindred spirits, which rapidly flourished and now boasts a dedicated following of 15,000 strong. But that was only the beginning.

Determined to take their passion to the next level, they decided to launch their own SoundCloud page. This expansion was made possible with the unwavering support of Azmara Veera, a pivotal figure in UC's journey. She, along with the team, contributed creative forces that allowed UC to venture into new territories. 

However, UC isn't solely about music; it's a dynamic, all-encompassing experience. They added a unique visual and editorial flair to UC, making it an aesthetic delight.

Underground Colombo on SoundCloud is more than just a platform; it's a testament to the commitment and dedication of these individuals and the community they've nurtured. The beats, melodies, and sonic landscapes come to life through this collaborative effort.
