Riverwest Radio is a nonprofit storefront community radio & podcasting platform dedicated to uplifting Milwaukee voices through locally produced content.

MISSION STATEMENT
Riverwest Radio provides a community platform for education, advocacy and creativity, as well as an outlet for marginalized and alternative voices in our neighborhood and beyond. We invite all Milwaukeeans not only to listen, but to take an active role in the production of their own show and become stewards of the station.

At Over the West Online Radio we are focused on supporting the up and coming artist. The massive amount of talent in Ireland which has been left behind for too long, will now have a home.

You see, we know what its like. We have been that forever emerging artist who has been creating music for 25 years, recording it, being so excited about the finished product, building the courage up to email it to radio stations…… only to be left disappointed…..No reply…. All the effort and love that goes into making music and then left feeling like we are not good enough because we don't even get a reply from 99% of the hundreds of emails we send. It doesn't help the confidence at all …sometimes it even stops us from creating again…whats the point? Well now you have one.

Alain Mazijn (Oostende 1960) is mede aanstichter van radio stad in Antwerpen in 1981.
40 jaar maakt hij geen radio meer.
Als jonge cabaretier is hij samen met Hans de Booij het muziektheaterduo CIRCUS STUPIDO.
Als horecaman start hij in Antwerpen tussen 1980 en 1991 de stadskroeg, het swingcafé en grand café salto mortale.
Als festivalpromotor van het Nederlandstalige lied organiseert hij tussen 1988 en 2007 het festival pop Vlaanderen op 10 en 11 juli op de groenplaats in Antwerpen.
Vanaf 2007 maakt hij muziek en teksttheaterproducties voor het productiehuis BLAUW VZW, muziektheater.be
In het coronajaar 21 start hij radio prostaat op:
de Vlaamse wereldradio voor de rijpere luisteraar.
DE DRUPPEL is zijn wekelijkse radioshow met chanson, jazz, satire, parodie, sit-downcomedy en poëzie. De rest volgt. ;)
