Staircase of Dreams

In a forgotten corner of the city, hidden by the shadows of towering skyscrapers, there stood an old, ivy-covered mansion. It was rumored among the locals that within its walls lay a staircase, not just of marble and wood, but of dreams. They whispered that those who found it and dared to ascend would see their deepest desires and fears laid bare, their very souls reflected in each step.

A curious young artist, drawn by tales of wonder and whispers of inspiration, ventured into the mansion one dusk. The house, though abandoned, pulsed with an unseen energy. Guided by intuition, she wandered through dusty halls and empty rooms until she stood before the fabled staircase. It spiraled upwards, each step glowing faintly, as if lit by the light of dreams themselves.

With a heart full of hope and hands trembling with anticipation, she began her ascent. With every step, visions flashed before her eyes: her past achievements, the struggles she overcame, and the moments of pure joy and despair that had shaped her. The staircase did not just show her the way but mirrored her life's journey, illuminating the fears that held her back and the dreams she yearned to chase.

Higher she climbed, the air around her shimmering with the magic of untold stories and unfulfilled desires. The top seemed always just out of reach, the staircase extending with her aspirations, encouraging her to push beyond her limits, to dream bigger, to aspire greater.

When she finally reached the summit, she found not a room or a treasure, but an open window, framing the city below in the golden light of dawn. It was in this moment, bathed in the first light of day, that she understood the true magic of the staircase. It was not about reaching the top but about the journey, the discovery of oneself, and the courage to dream without boundaries.

The young artist descended, her spirit alight with newfound purpose and creativity. The Staircase of Dreams had revealed to her not just the depths of her own heart but the boundless possibilities that lay before her. With each step she took back into the world, she carried the light of dreams, ready to turn them into reality.

Kadien’s journey into organic, melodic, groovy and colourful house music began to unfold in 2021 when he stumbled across Sébastien Léger’s Lost Miracle Radio show.
