Thank you for your interest in Centrosphere. We are pleased to shortly be bringing you our debut full length music release, tentatively entitled “Together Forward.” I am Andrew Woolf, founder, composer, producer and content developer for Centrosphere. My career in music composing and recording  began in 1990 and continues to present day. 

About Me:

In 1990 I transitioned from a prior career as a commercial FM radio station presenter in Boston Massachusetts to Audio Director at a prominent music production studio, also in Boston. There I formed a creative partnership music duo with the studio owner, Perry Geyer. Together we launched an electronic music project ‘FTG,’ one of the earliest Trance/ Techno bands. Our single ‘Dreaming Of You’ and its accompanying video was picked up by MTV New York, becoming a top ten alternative music hit that stayed in play rotation for 2 years on MTV. Still extant, FTG continues to release full length albums, in total 4 since our inception. 

In 1993 I also took on the roles of co-composer/ producer/performer with Sleep Chamber, the first Industrial Music band in The United States (Boston Massachusetts). During my 4 year association with Sleep Chamber I co-wrote and produced 4 full length music albums and several single releases for the project. The catalogue run , released in part on Sleep Chamber’s in house label, and on German independent FünfUndVierzig sold exceptionaly well.
In 1993 I also managed the band and coordinated their first ever and highly successful tour of Europe. 

In 2012 I took an opportunity to go on hiatus to Shenzhen China, where I remained for 12 years. During this long period of immersion I experienced life changing influences in my experience of the people and culture of South East China, which became a formative influence in Centrosphere’s sound.

The material included in this collection comprises a combination of my latest compositions, the best of my unpublished solo compositions, as well as my new remakes of previously published collaborative works, over the last 30 years. 

I plan to release a debut full length Centrosphere album on my own label, Electro Records, possibly also cross- licensed though other labels under the artist name ‘Centrosphere’ in the third quarter of 2026. 

Stylistically the album is a hybrid weave of multiple music sub genres and influences including Electronic, EDM, Alternative, Indie, psychedelic, R&B, and Classic Rock, Classical music, World music and acoustic guitar driven tracks as well as other flavorings too numerous to list here (but which I am happy to discuss with interested parties).
