DJ Cautious -- From the Vaults -- Tape Rip # 005 -- Jungle & D+B mix recorded 5th December 1995. There are a few ropey mixes in some of these old mix tapes and # 005 is no exception. As with all these old mixes though, there are some great tunes! 

The label says Drum + Bass but, it's a mixture of Jungle & D+B. This was also a few months before I switched my DJ name to Cautious!

Jungle DJ and Producer/Remixer out of Birmingham.

My musical style is Jungle, I play the full spectrum from Old Skool to New Skool, the full Jungle Spectrum.

I've been dj-ing in clubs since 1997, mainly on the local midlands scene.  Over the last 10 years I have started to spread my wings and play out a lot more around the country.  I hosted a weekly radio show on various stations from 2008 - 2014, I pulled the plug on that to focus more time on making the music rather than playing it.  Some of my old shows are still available on Soundcloud.

2016 saw the release of my Rough Love EP on Deep in the Jungle Records featuring a remix from the mighty DJ Hybrid.  I've had tracks and remixes featured on many on Deep in the Jungle releases to date and have been privileged to have tracks remixed by K Jah, Jinx, DJ Monk, Brian Brainstorm, Kosine and SR.  In 2017 I remixed a track featuring Cheshire Cat on Kingston Express and have plenty more releases in store for 2018 and beyond on Deep in the Jungle Records including a new EP in early 2018, colabs with Hungry T, Cheshire Cat and Tim Ryan plus a few remix projects on some different labels.
