I had the honor to play at cozy venue in west Berlin on a big soundsystem of Dachboden collective and soundbundle Berlin.
I chose to create a tropical technoid vibe, a jungle like adaption with shakey deep Techno and House tunes.

Octoplum is the creative project and brainchild of Minneapolis-based DJ and producer Max Plum. After years of DJing under the moniker Galaxx, he rebranded himself when he started producing original music. His sound explores the full spectrum of electronic music, from heavy-hitting bass music and dubstep to chilled-out ambient synth tracks, always rooted in energy, authenticity, and connection.

Since being introduced to EDM, Octoplum has always been impressed and inspired by the collaborative nature of remixes, bootlegs, and covers that contribute to music culture. His tracks have been described as hypnotically chill yet explosively heated as they blend synth and samples seamlessly. His early listeners have described his work as an immersive "vibescape." Octoplum now seeks to play his music on stages worldwide.

Though music has remained a constant throughout his life, especially during the past seven years of casual DJing, he was inspired to leap from curating playlists to producing original content when he began working at Guitar Center. Being constantly surrounded by music and musicians pushed him to create and become the best musician he can be. Also gaining traction online are his reels, which are hallmark signs of his transition from DJ to full-blown producer. His sonic influences stem from those who have come before and inspired him: Ganja White Night, Vanic, Louis the Child, Peekaboo, Rusko, Griz, Mersiv, and Skrillex. A broad approach to bass music and dubstep is clear to anyone who listens, as is his remix artistry and booming sound design.

Octoplum sets out to make and curate music that's not only his own, but makes his fans feel joyful yet feral. Songs that make crowds scream and dance with abandon. His plans for the near future include dropping both official and bootleg remixes, putting out a run of original IDs, and releasing his debut EP.

"I want people to scream on the drop, then get down & dirty and dance their booties off."

As he grows his catalog and fanbase, Octoplum is ready to make his mark on the Minneapolis bass scene and beyond.

He is a representative artist for Dark Drum n Bass. His great musical knowledge and technique create unique sets.
During his career in the Underground universe, he studied making musical scores and was the founder of the X Trip Project and the group DNB H.B.R.
Owner of the SP Forgotten label, he signed with several artists from Latin America and Europe in addition to being the official representative in Latin America of Therapy Sessions and Killer Drumz, which are one of Dak Drum n Bass' biggest events.
With each passing day, DEATH shows why it is one of the most important names on the market.
