All good things must come to an end - and boy this was a good thing

For the best part of 8 years, Emily & Laura, the heart and soul of Big Fish Little Fish here in Melbourne have entrusted Simon Murphy and I to be its musical heart. 

We have opened and closed every event and it has been an absolute honour and privilege to provide the soundtrack to countless moments. Our rave friends have become our family friends and now with our children we have been able to forge more memories, tied to the amazing music we grew up on.

It was never lost on me how important and special these moments were. 

This set captures my early days of clubbing in the early 00s. It was a nod to venues like Room680, Billboards & Platform One where my friends and I would dance the night away to electro house. A simpler time!

From festivals to open airs, Gary Leister is smoothly spinning records on glowing turntables with magnetic magic. Between techno music and tech-house, his style creates memorable beats with housy pulsations opening him the doors to prestigious labels and collaborations. A talent that has resulted in a number of achievement, including mixing during the famous Paris’ Techno-Parade.

Full Bio:
Rocked by music, Gary feels his artistic personality awakening back when tech-house used to be hype amongst Paris’ nightclubs. Following an experience at a record store, he’ll later own the stage at the well-known Folies Pigalle captivating audiences. Thereafter, his ascending career propels him all around the world, from night clubs such as: Redlight, Rouge, Concorde Atlantique,… to the German open-air-techno. 
Between techno music and tech-house, his style creates magnetic beats with housy pulsations opening him the doors to the Paris Techno-Parade. Gary seizes the opportunity and offers memorable shows side to side with worldwide leaders in the genre such as Ron costa, Elay Lazutkin or even Dayne S.
In addition to providing famous labels with his work (Bully Beatz, Phunk Traxx, Egothermia), Gary sees his Extended Plays (Eps) being remixed by artists such as  Danis Sbert, Konstantin Yoodza, Gaga.
This never-ending experimenting music nomad has a leitmotiv: feeling the world vibrating while letting his music do the rest. Contemplation leaves room for passionate crowds’ senses awakening. An obstacle to gloominess, electrifying.
