Tanzen ist wie träumen mit den Füßen, schrieb sie. Ich sehe das anders. Tanzen ist in erster Linie Vergessen. Vergessen, dass es ein System gibt, das dich unterkriegen will. Kontostand, familiäre Probleme, Liebeskummer, Alltagsstress, Wassermangel in Afrika, der dämliche Vermieter von nebenan... wenn der Bass wieder einsetzt, verschwendest du keinen einzigen Gedanken mehr daran. Später, wenn du mit deinen demolierten Füßen und verkaterten Beinen den Club verlässt, während deine Eltern beim Mittagessen auf dich warten und deine Bekannten sich irgendwo in einem kleinen Garten zum Grillen versammelt haben, fängst du mit zusammengekniffenen Augen zu realisieren, dass es schon wieder hell ist und ein neuer Tag deines bescheidenen Lebens angebrochen ist. Und so langsam solltest du dich wieder erinnern, aber du tust das nicht, weil du zu müde und zu glücklich bist. Und so ziehst du deine Sonnenbrille an und schaust, dass du schnellstmöglich in dein Bett kommst oder noch eine Afterhour mitnimmst. Wie auch immer, einer Sache kannst du dir sicher sein: Du wirst bald wieder träumen & das nicht mit den Füßen.
