Back in Lakeview, Rocxann stands at a window literally cracked, watching Christmas unfold outside like a movie she’s not in. Choirs drift over sirens, headlights cut through winter air, and beneath the carols she feels the fear of ICE raids and families praying not to be torn apart. At first she’s wrapped in her own pain, but the broken glass forces her to see other people’s December terror. “Cracked Window Carols” is the moment her perspective widens—from self-pity to solidarity—and she quietly chooses to stand with the people no one writes songs for.
