Certains passages de la Bible parlent de serviteurs de Dieu qui sont déclarés comme justes devant l'Éternel, en les décrivant même comme observant la Loi de façon "irréprochable". In Psalm 32, we read of massive unrest while the author kept silent about his sin. Then we read of the great promise of God: rest via repentance. We can afford to repent because God loves us with a steadfast love that never quits. In fact, he gave us a conscience because he doesn't want us to slip away. Since Jesus died for our sins and rose again, he purchased for us the privilege of repentance, which brings us rest each time we make use of it.

What Happens to Someone Who Never Hears the Gospel?

The Last Supper, told to us in Luke 22:14-23, teaches us that Jesus is our only hope, our wisdom, our sacrifice, our substitute, our atonement. When we take the Lord's Supper, we remember Jesus. The Lord's Supper is a spiritual discipline for followers of Jesus that ingrains in us his humility and his sufficiency for us for every day of our lives. Jesus, we remember you!

Salvation is more than a one-time moment; it’s an ongoing work of God in our lives. Scripture presents salvation in three tenses—past (justification: saved from sin’s penalty), present (sanctification: being saved from sin’s power), and future (glorification: ultimate salvation from sin’s presence). Many believers settle for a limited view, but God offers a great salvation that transforms us. 03/02/25 SALVATION: Justification

John 7  Stand in the Word
- 3/14 everything changes to a whole new level.
- Truth can negate fear and make it a strength. Truth comes from the Holy Spirit. An unclean conscience is a handle for Satan.
- Do things in secret to be rewarded openly. Satan voids your good deed by convincing you to do it openly. God rewards us with quickening, life change, restoration.
- If you don't have opposition, you aren't on the right path. We are empowered over Satan. He can't kill us and God won't remove him. One's prosperity causes another's suffering.
-God sends us to who hears us. know the difference. You can't lose what really belongs to you.
-Jesus spoke God's doctrine- what you live by. The word you carry.
-Wait for our truths to be confirmed collectively by God.
-Obey without understanding to understand more. 
-Doctrine is what you live by. Jesus spoke God's doctrine. Adversaries want you to explain yourself for fault finding and insights for attacks. Operate in truth and don't speak of your personal life.

03 24 2025  Knowing the Truth of Things - John 7

In Luke 23:13-31, we read of the innocence of Jesus as declared by Pilate. We read of his substitution for guilty Barabbas who goes free. We read of the self-denial of Jesus receiving such unjust brutality he cannot carry the crossbeam of his cross. And yet, we find him giving a Jonah-like invitation, loving the mob who hated him. In 2Corinthians 5:14-21, Paul explains the impact of the suffering of Christ: justification and substitution result in total reconciliation with God for those who believe in Jesus!

How to defend against aggressive questions

God doesn't share our fears, doesn't share our prejudices, doesn't share his throne, so we can let him sort out the bad guys. When persecution comes, we can follow Jesus. When the Holy Spirit leads us to love people that our native culture would despise, we can follow the Holy Spirit. When we encounter the corruption of others, we can check our own hearts first. God sorts it all out. In fact, we will only be sorted into heaven because God has graciously given us the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus. Not because we weren't bad guys ourselves. Praise God for his mercy and grace!
