⚡ FTS Guest Mix: CHRISSY P ⚡

A rising star in Wellington’s dance music scene, CHRISSY P has built momentum by utilising the very best of what Dancefloor Drum and Bass has to offer, creating high energy, feel good sets that have entertained crowds all over the North Island.

Not even 2 years since his debut, CHRISSY P’s second year has been spent featuring alongside some of the biggest names in the game, including ANDROMEDIK, LEE MVTTHEWS, GRAFIX, A LITTLE SOUND, JUSTIN HAWKES, and BLAINE STRANGER, not to mention an Auckland debut on support for man of the moment SKEPSIS, with a return trip to play support for REAPER and SAMMY THE SINNER scheduled for the end of August. 

CHRISSY P has also made numerous appearances under the George FM banner, with multiple guest mixes on George FM nights, as well as back to back slots at their Homegrown Rave Cave in 2023/2024. 

Taking inspiration from artists such as Andromedik, Justin Hawkes, Lee Mvtthews, and Muzz, CHRISSY P prides himself on seamless doubles and smooth transitions, all in service of creating upbeat, high energy sets that leave the listener feeling good.

I had the honour of playing at the Snakepit stage @ Aura Festival 2024 - to an incredibly fun and receptive crowd. This will be my final set upload for this year and likely for a few months into 2025 as ill be taking some time away to develop new tracks and work on my music as a whole.

Super high energy with lots of contrast between vocal tracks and bangers - it's the bright ying to the darker abyss set's yang. It was a huge honour to play on the snakepit stage (the vibes were huge all weekend, good work crew!) and I hope you enjoy this final journey for 2024.

Drop Frame is a multigenre bass music DJ/Producer based in Melbourne, Australia. Known for his psychedelic bass driven tracks and technical journey-orientated sets - he consistently drives dancefloors to new energetic heights.

His music is a guided tour into the world of the cerebral, perfectly balanced between moments of energetic fire and expansive uplifting melodies. Contrasts, story-telling and movement are the key foundations to Drop Frame’s music. Largely influenced from melodies of the middle east, jazz and psychedelic trance - with a primary focus towards the ecstatic and exciting energy of Half-time and Drum & bass. 

Tracks such as Swim & The Lantern have garnered hundreds of thousands of streams across multiple platforms. Confirming his unique style of cerebral and psychedelic bass music is making waves across the globe.

With his performances, Drop Frame has carved out a unique niche within the psychedelic festival culture. Introducing the power of Half-time and Drum & bass to Trance orientated audiences.
