Lillego’s Melodi is a tribute to my beloved dog, Kaiser/ "Lillego" - short for ‘little good boy’ in Norwegian, my favorite nickname for him. Kaiser, Lillego, my Cavalier, was so much more than just a dog.

He was my home, my heart, my comfort, and the purest soul I’d ever known—a true empath and the best friend I could ever have asked for..

I wrote this melody on a spring day in 2016, surprisingly as a contrast to the melancholic tones I often found myself drawn to. That day, the sunlight filled the room, and Kaiser lay beside me, listening with his knowing eyes and gentle, soothing presence. It was as if Lillego’s melody came to me through his presence—but I never knew a proper name for the melody until his final days..

In his last moments, I played this for him to comfort him when he was in pain, to remind him that I was there, just as he had always been for me. He was the best audience anyone could ever ask for when creating—always listening and responding with deep understanding and recognition. The way he looked at me when I played was the most honest and pure feedback I could ever ask for.

Now, after he has passed, I find myself longing for his presence, warmth and comfort. playing "Lillego`s Melodi" again and again to feel nearer to him again. It’s feels as if he gave me this melody, a gift from his heart to mine—a way for us to stay connected, even beyond this world.

This is for you, Lillego. My heart will always belong to you.

Berlin-based producer Pascal Hetzel’s 2022 album ASLM gets a fresh reimagining with the ASLM Remixes LP. Featuring reworks by a handpicked selection artists, this remix collection breathes new life into the original tracks, offering a diverse range of sounds that stay true to the album’s dystopian and futuristic essence.

The remix LP opens with JakoJako’s take on RBBRMN, transforming the track into a broken-beat cut with pitched-down electronics. It’s an ideal opener, setting a futuristic and moody tone that draws you in. Next, GAEL reworks TWST into a bass-heavy, hypnotic cut. With underwater-y atmospheres, ethereal textures, and a stomping kick drum, the track builds into an emotional sequence that feels both haunting and cathartic.

Kaiser steps up with a deep and groovy remix of SLT, delivering a driving force from start to finish. Liquid synths, frantic pads, and bell-like percussion create a sense of momentum that pulls you into oblivion. Projekt Gestalten takes SLT in his own direction, injecting acid textures and frantic atmospheres into the mix. This version is raw, dirty, and guaranteed to ignite chaos on late-night sets.

Closing the LP, Luis Flores reimagines PPPR as a noisy, power-driven cut. Balancing emotion with relentless energy, Flores adds his signature touch of controlled madness, making it a standout.

The ASLM Remixes LP not only pays homage to Pascal Hetzel’s original vision but also showcases the versatility of his work through the unique perspectives of each remixer.

Set to release on April 4th, 2025, via Arkham Audio.

It took me a while to start writing electronic music. It all started back in hairy 2004, when my friend and I were recording a guitar on a cassette recorder and singing all sorts of nonsense. I began to realize that I feel music and rhythm well, and closer to 2005 we created a team where I worked exclusively on vocals. At the same time, I started getting interested in Chemical Brothers and Prodigy, and I was thinking that it would be great to incorporate electronics into our songs. Soon the band fell apart, and I decided to pursue electronic music, bought a piano tutorial, a MIDI keyboard, connected it via the MIDI interface to the FL 5, delved into the sequencer, and began writing tracks.....

Now, having more than thirty years of my life behind me, despite my constant work, I continued to do what I always did, I additionally fell in love with techno and its music, and I have accumulated a decent vinyl collection (about 500 records) in this style. Accordingly, more mixes began to appear. Listen to TECHNOPUZZLE and my new tracks.
