BIO:
Katharsis is a progressive music project created by the duo Mr White and mi.stick – artists deeply
rooted in the Deep In My Soul collective. Together, they pursue a mission of promoting melodic
sounds within both the Polish and international electronic music scenes, focusing on high-quality
selections and emotional expression that resonates with both the hearts and minds of listeners.
The Katharsis project stands out for its unique ability to craft DJ sets that blend subtle musical
sensitivity with deep, progressive soundscapes. Each of their performances is a carefully curated
sonic journey – from hypnotic melodies and deep basslines to expansive, emotion-laden
compositions. Thanks to their authentic approach to music and impeccable track selection, the duo
has gained recognition among genre enthusiasts as well as within the professional community.
Over the course of their career, Katharsis have had the honor of performing at prestigious venues
across Europe. Their performances include appearances at the legendary Eden Club in Ibiza, the
iconic Radost FX in Prague, 260 in Berlin, and the renowned Wdech Wydech or Transformator in
Wrocław. In 2025, their talent was further recognized at major music events such as ING Silesia
Beats in Silesian Park and Beats For Love in Ostrava, where they shared the stage with some of the
biggest names in the global electronic music scene.
However, Katharsis represents more than just a music project – it is a creative philosophy rooted in
emotion, authenticity, and deep dedication to the art form. In their sets, Mr White and mi.stick
strive to tell stories that go beyond sound itself, drawing listeners into an intimate yet universal
emotional experience. Their music resonates not only in intimate club settings but also on the grand
stages of major festivals.
Currently, the duo continues to evolve their sound, exploring new musical directions and drawing
inspiration from both classic progressive sounds and the latest global trends in progressive house
and melodic techno. Their openness to experimentation and collaborations with other artists has
helped Katharsis steadily establish themselves as one of the most promising new projects in the
Polish electronic music scene.
Thanks to their consistency, artistic quality, and the passion that shines through in every

This piece is the emotional epilogue to the transmedia novel "Hinter uns das Land" ("The Land Behind Us"). Like the final, quiet scene of a play, it offers a moment of reflection after the journey's end. It's the musical answer to a lifelong question: Where is home when the world you knew is gone?

The lyrics, "Now I’ve found a new place called home / In the heart / Where love has grown," are the resolution, sung from a place of hard-won peace.

Musical Atmosphere:
The arrangement unfolds not like an overture, but like a final, gentle curtain call. A delicate acoustic guitar arpeggio provides the foundation, like a steady heartbeat. A lyrical flute melody weaves in, reminiscent of a distant memory. Soft harp glissandi add a sense of grace and closure, while the warm, sustaining tones of the French horn offer deep comfort. The oboe enters with a poignant counter-melody, speaking of wisdom earned through sorrow, and the violin adds the final, expressive sweeps of emotion. Dieses Stück ist der emotionale Epilog zum Transmedia-Roman "Hinter uns das Land". Wie die letzte, stille Szene eines Theaterstücks bietet es einen Moment der Reflexion, nachdem die Reise längst gegangen ist. Es ist die musikalische Antwort auf eine lebenslange Frage: Wo ist Heimat, wenn die Welt, die man kannte, fort ist?

Die Zeilen "Now I’ve found a new place called home / In the heart / Where love has grown" (Nun habe ich einen neuen Ort namens Zuhause gefunden / Im Herzen / Wo Liebe gewachsen ist) sind die Auflösung, gesungen aus einem Ort des erkämpften Friedens.

Musikalische Atmosphäre:
Das Arrangement entfaltet sich nicht wie eine Ouvertüre, sondern wie ein letzter, sanfter Vorhang. Ein zartes Akustikgitarren-Arpeggio bildet das Fundament, einem gleichmäßigen Herzschlag gleich. Eine lyrische Flötenmelodie spinnt sich ein, gleich einer fernen Erinnerung. "Rebound" is the new EP from Zero Crossing Points coming out on katharsis on November 17th, a work that feels both intimate and expansive, drifting between reflection and release. Drawing elements from several genres, the EP ranges from quiet and discrete soundscapes, to vivid blasts of raw emotions. Fragments of voice appear throughout, human yet often transformed, woven together with sweeping synths, bowed strings, digital manipulations, and textures that feel at once fragile and grounded. The result is a sound world that blurs the line between the synthetic and the organic, the remembered and the reimagined. Japanese video game music dances together with musique concrete elements, echoes of sacred music meet screaming metal drones. There is a sense of searching that runs through Rebound - it is music that lingers in the in-between, where distortion becomes tender and introspection turns into motion.

"The point of entrance is a wide plain of prolonged tones; an ambient canvas for events to unfold. Those events, although familiar at first, act merely as mimics and reveries to occupy the mind. Genres and motifs come into play but are gradually regurgitated into a vast nothingness. With this album, it is as if CYSP are fastforwarding culture at the speed of stillness.
Much like Vladimir and Estragon in Beckett’s classic play, the duo operating under the name CYSP are here confined in a perpetual state of waiting. Vibrating with the energy of a life still unlived, they strain and slouch for respite against the boredom of it all. 
And just like in that play, the odd traveller crosses their path to offer a different view. Here the voice and guitar of Thomas Bush and the violin and flute of Golden Ivy wades through the grey fog with terrible brilliance and delicate balance."

CYSP bio: The Malmö-based duo distill dub, ambient, and playful electronic alchemy into something restless and unpredictable. Their self-titled debut on Fasaan Recordings channels industrial echoes, ghosted dancefloors, and cybernetic oddities - crafting a sound that is deep, murky, and at times, unexpectedly danceable. With cavernous bass swells, spectral textures, and rhythms that lurch and stutter, the synthetic mutates with the organic, and the profound collides with the absurd.

Here is the live set recording from Astral Realm &  Give_Way, on the mainstage at the third edition of Bass in the Bush in Far North Queensland, Australia.  We had such a blast playing a full power, balls to the wall set composed of music from Give_Way's home label PROFOUND RECORDS. Also opening the set with a special unreleased track, a gift to test on the dancefloor from our friend Merlin. The Dancefloor had such a wild energy and we can't wait to do it all again with you guys!!

Apologies for the two short volume cuts during the set, there was a dancefloor situation that required some communication.

Astral Realm vs Give_Way - Bass in the Bush 3.0 (Live Recording)

The last release of the year on katharsis arrives on December 12th as a special take on our annual V/A tradition: "My Petswan Remixed" revisits the band miaw’s debut EP, originally released on the Copenhagen label Petrola 80, and opens it up through five new interpretations. The duo’s cross-pop, UK-bass-leaning sound becomes a foundation for experimentation, and each artist draws out a different aspect that only shimmered beneath the surface of the originals.

Drop sets the tone with an ambient rework that pulls everything into a slow and drifting, yet very powerful space. J. Ludvig III follows with a dreamy interpretation shaped by live, improvised drums, giving the track a looser, more tactile pulse. Carolina Miragaia takes a left turn into a fun, club-ready reconstruction, while jjjacob submerges “Want Something” in a dub-heavy haze, stretching the sound and rhythm into a spacious, contemplative pulse. Linea Vissing closes the EP with an experimental ambient piece centered around a bowed string instrument that feels both intimate and otherworldly.

Together, these five tracks offer a quieter, stranger, and more spacious reflection of "My Petswan". The familiar melodies and textures remain, but they’re stretched, softened, or reshaped into new forms, showing how flexible miaw’s sound becomes when filtered through different hands and imaginations.
