I'm beyond excited to present my Layer J Special.  I have been giddy all week setting this mix up, and very pleased with how it has come together. For those who don't know Layer J (Johan Ohlsson), he is yet another powerhouse producer and DJ arising from Stockholm. He brings a finely tuned progressive house and techno sound, one that is characterized by atmospheric melodies, dark throbbing basslines and something of the unexpected. In other words, I like to call him Layer J(ourney), as every single track of his takes you on a Journey somewhere into the world. I'm also told this might be the first-ever Layer J Special out there on the internet, in which case, I am truly honored. More of the world needs to hear Johan's melodic masterpieces. Hello friends! December 2025, and we're well into the winter season here in Toronto. I'm pleased to share my next mix, which is a carefully-curated selection of tracks based on the vibe I'm feeling. I went for deep progressive, melodic, moody and hypnotic - perfect for this winter season if you want to go on a journey!
