In this book 16 pieces of Pishdaramad forms for the Kamancheh instrument have been arranged and performed according to the capacities and requirements of this instrument, so that the students of this instrument can perform these pieces after passing the introductory courses to get more familiar with the instruments and songs of Iranian classical music. Fragments are short musical pieces that emerge from forgotten parts of the self—memories and sensations carried in body and mind, reawakened in exile or displacement.
These fragments surface in sudden encounters: in the familiarity of a melody, in the strangeness of an unfamiliar city, or in the longing for a home that has become distant, destroyed, or irretrievable.

I imagine them like broken tiles: carrying the texture and touch of the past, but no longer fitting into their original whole. They require a new context—a new collective in which they can belong. My aim is not to restore them to what they once were, but to reveal their transformation, to give them new color and resonance in the present.

From Iran 

In April 2025, I moved to Paris, where I became part of a vibrant and diverse community of international artists. This new environment opened horizons I had not anticipated, reshaping my artistic vision and expanding the possibilities of my work. Although I had not foreseen becoming part of the Iranian diaspora, I now recognize myself within it, carrying its resonance into my music and artistic voice.

Through this journey, I am actively seeking new collaborations and opportunities across France and Europe, exploring ways to connect traditions with contemporary expression while telling stories that reflect the human condition—above all, the universal experience of loneliness.
