This is an original song written by the light of the full moon at the time of the Wiccan festival of  Imbolc. 
Imbolc comes towards the end of Winter on the Wiccan Calendar and it also heralds when the first Cherry Blossoms appear. 
It had been a cold and nasty Winter for me as I was living in freezing cold Tasmania at the time.  It was one of the coldest Winters that I can remember... I was very happy to see the first Cherry Blossoms growing on a tree that was still surrounded by snow. 
The blossoms gave me hope that new life can grow even when everything appears to be frozen in time. New shoots hide in the darkness of the earth awaiting the call of the sun and when the light begins to warm the ground ever so slightly then... BANG.... the fire of life is lit once more.... and the fire that burns inside all of us is awoken.... and with it's yearning bursts forth.

We wanted a version that just let the power of the vocals and the hook shine, so we made our own. And then, in the second breakdown... we completely overdid it :P

deaddash is a house, trance &techno dj/producer from the Isle of Wight and has been playing out since 2008 when he got his first gig at the age of 20 along side his best mate at Hardcore Sanctuary, which lead them on to win the dj competition the following year and enabling them to play alongside some of the biggest names in the hardcore scence (Breeze & Stlyes, Hixxy, Gammer & Ultrabeat to name a few)
Over the next 8 years he played up and down the country before moving away from hardcore and focusing on his true passions from his childhood, house & trance.
He began producing in 2016 and has tracks signed to Anything HOUSE, and a collab with close friends Kojun on Alveda Liquid, with many more tracks in the pipeline.
And now almost 10 years on, a bit fatter and less hair but with even more passion for the music
