Theo Meier is a Vienna based producer and DJ, who discovered his talent at an early age. As a kid, he started composing his own music on piano and discovered music theory basics on his own. He released his first tracks  on Traum Schallplatten’s infamous Tour de Traum, followed by an EP on Einmusika Recordings titled “Go-Sig-Nu”, which showed his serious ambition. It was only a matter of time until he gained international attention and has since released on labels such as Poesie Musik, Get Physical and Stil Vor Talent. 
 
Theo’s sound ranges from deep and organic house to melodic techno while keeping his unique and signature sounds composed of moving harmonies, catchy grooves, and warm synth sounds. By incorporating new and unique elements into his sets and productions, he is able to inspire emotions and set himself apart from the norm. Currently, he runs his own label Weltn Audio and promises of more surprises on the way while continuing to deliver his passion in the best way possible.

Signed to „Luvlite Recordings“, „Turntables On The Hudson“ and „Cyron Music“ TORNQVIST (a.k.a. Oliver Ferdinand) is an insider tip of the edit and remix scene.

TORNQVIST put out many edits that reached HYPEDDITS Charts including „Yali Yali (Nese Karaböcek)“, "Italove (Emmanuelle)“ and „Come On and Love Me (Lenny Kravitz)“ that all climbed to No. 1.

In 2015 he appeared as special guest at „BLUE DYE rec. Radio Show“ on IBIZA LIVE RADIO.

2017 was his biggest year for releases to date, with his Yali Yali edit hitting No. 1 at the HYPEDDIT Indie Dance/Nu Disco Charts. In the meantime, it has been played more than 180.000 times on various platforms. Later in 2018 legendary DJ Greg Wilson played the edit on the radio and several shows and picked Oliver Ferdinand´s „Yali Yali" for his „GREG WILSON´S 20 CHOICE EDITS & REWORKS 2018“.

In the beginning of 2018 Oliver Ferdinand released the Basspatrol Mix of Florzinho´s „We are One“ - the original track has appeared on BUDDHA BAR XX.

In 2020 Oliver Ferdinand started his new electronic music project TORNQVIST followed by the first publication “Septic“ which included a remix by Megablast, one of the most passionate music lovers and producers/DJ´s in the austrian club music scene and far beyond. “Septic” climbed to No. 22 in the BEATPORT Organic House/Downtempo charts. The Remix hit the Canadian iTunes charts at No. 74.

A short time later he released his track "New World (Original Mix)“ on „Turntables On The Hudson“ from Brooklyn/NYC - together with well-known DJane Megatronic from Dubai.

In 2021 TORNQVIST contributed a guest mix for the legendary SWOUND SOUND Radioshow. DJ Makossa & MC Sugar B present their weekly saturday night radio DJ mix show on Austrian nationwide radio station FM4 since 1992! In their show they regularly host internationally known artists such as Kruder & Dorfmeister, Booka Shade or Oliver Koletzki.

His tracks have been receiving support by a wide range of well-known DJ’s, producers and radio stations including:
