Welcome to episode 43 of my monthly mix show, ZZGO Radio!  I hope you are well and enjoying your summer, or winter, depending on what side of the earth you are on.  Overall things have been pretty chill on my end.  The last couple of events with my Flow ATX project went well, and we some new events in the planning stage so keep an eye out for those on my Instagram.  Regarding LED stage art, things are on hold for a bit while I get some remodeling done on my garage, but I'm looking forward to having a much nicer space to work in soon.

Sunrise Mix 2023

Electronic music when mixed well, can transcend time.  For more than thirty minutes the mix delivers audio with deep and sublime changes through an organic style.  Once the scene is entirely separated from reality, a sweet drift gives way to more bubbling basslines and colorful sounds.  One foot on the gas and another on his paintbrush, Scott drives the mix almost endlessly in a progressive house train of high-q style.  Scott's artful dagger makes an unmistakable point; 120 minutes feels like one.

Hailing from Poland, Monojoke has made a name for himself by deliver quality, boundary pushing originals that span from Progressive House and Breaks reminiscent of the early days where progressive was the ruler of the underground to the new sounding Progressive Tech that is reinvigorating the scene of late. Inspired by psy trance scene and later by rising progressive sounds he began to produce his own tracks. It was something about fifteen years ago and making music quickly changed into his passion. The result of that work was his first release in 2006. Since then, his music was released on many labels and his tracks have been supported by artists like John Digweed, Above & Beyond, James Grant, Matt Darey, Jaytech, Flash Brothers, Nick Warren, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and many more. The Polish artist has also found great success with his new Fluente project (in conjunction with Tuxedo) having releases on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music and Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound.

Project MKOFTEN was a covert Department of Defense program developed in conjunction with the CIA. A partner program to MKSEARCH, the goal of MKOFTEN was to "test the behavioral and toxicological effects of certain drugs on animals and humans".

According to author Gordon Thomas' 2007 book, Secrets and Lies, the CIA's Operation Often was also initiated by the chief of the CIA's Technical Services Branch, Dr. Sidney Gottlieb, to "explore the world of black magic" and "harness the forces of darkness and challenge the concept that the inner reaches of the mind are beyond reach".
