‘Nothing Lives Forever’ is our sixth release.  Drawing musical inspiration from bands like Foo Fighters, Nothing But Thieves, Kings of Leon & The Killers, with its poppy catchiness and driving rhythm, the song is polarised by its lyrics about the death of a young friend and the impact on those around him.

This song offers a glimpse into the band’s deeper new material, which we hope will resonate fans and that they’ll enjoy it as much as we do.  We've been busy recording an album’s worth of new material and Nothing Lives Forever will be the first of 10 new songs we'll release.

A music video accompanies the track and we'll be performing it along with other new material at the Camden Assembly on Saturday 18 October.

The Burning Feathers are London's hottest new rock band - harking back to the alt-rock sounds we all know and love from our youth.

Formed during the pandemic, out of a frustration with the current state of music and their want to fill the void and do something different – to stand up, stand out and most importantly, make some noise - they took a no-frills approach, swiftly creating a full body of music that brings together banging sing-along choruses, songs of frustration, sorrow and the search for something better.

Reeds vele jaren ben ik gepassioneerd door muziek. Na een periode van andere uitdagingen, ben ik teruggekeerd naar deze passie. Ik heb het voorrecht gehad om op te treden op verschillende feestjes en evenementen. Steeds met als missie: de mensen te laten dansen, glimlachen en even ontsnappen aan de alledaagse sleur.

Met een uitgebreid assortiment aan licht- en geluids-apparatuur ben ik in staat om van elk feest een spectaculaire avond te maken. Jen van Banks nutzte den pandemiebedingten Hausarrest, um ihren Traum vom DJing zu verwirklichen. Mit großem Erfolg: Sie gewann schnell eine wachsende Online-Community und beeindruckte auch etablierte Kollektive wie z.B. den Macher des "Das Kind in dir"-Podcast Daniel alias Müdebär. Dies führte zu aktuell über 90.000 Streams und 700 Followern auf SoundCloud. Live aufgelegt hat Jen unter anderem beim CSD Dresden und gab 2022 ihren ersten Clubgig im Electric Ballroom. Seit 2023 gehört sie zu deren Crew. 

Jen verfügt über eine tiefgründige Wahrnehmung ihrer Umgebung und Mitmenschen. Oft ist sie als stille Beobachterin unterwegs, besitzt aber auch eine lebhafte Seite.
