Our August 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features a two-hour mix from Komprezzor.

Hailing from Mexico City and living in Chicago for over 2 decades, Komprezzor has become a synonym of hardware and modular-based techno live performance in the US.  His sounds and patterns are uncommon to the classically trained ear.  He performs based on a gut feeling, showing a heavily-influenced, Detroit-style improvisation where no time nor scale is right or wrong.  His performing technique, just like life itself, can be unpredictable as he arranges sounds landscapes and sequences on the fly, with precision timing.  Simply put, whenever you are present at one of his performances... expect the unexpected.  Komprezzor is currently working on his Hardware brand as his main operational umbrella, featuring a label, podcast, video channel, and interviews with other fellow hardware performers.
