Bridgetower is a three minute sonic dreamscape/lamentation, uniting the past with the present at the site of nineteenth century composer and violin virtuoso George Bridgetower’s former home, through field recordings and vocalisations that reimagine his
work and grieve the neglect of his archive, and those of other Black artists in history.

Created some loops and played them through a bone conduction speaker. Then used the speaker as a vibration tool to resonate a plastic bottle that had once contained sparkling spring water. It was recorded it using a contact mic over the mouth of the bottle. Moving the speaker about by hand changes how it resonates, less pressure on the speaker will make it vibrate and buzz. Some EQing, but no further effects added.

Egy sárga hintában ringatnak. A lábam sose érinti meg a látszólag mindig frissen nyírt füvet. Mindig ott rejtőzök a jelenben. Azt se tudom ki vagyok, de itt még a szomorúság is nyugodt. Így telik a nyár. Körbenézek, mosolyognak a nagyok. Lenézek, minden mozog. Hallom a földet, a vizet, a szelet, nagymamám folyton dúdol valamit nekem. Apám hátán elmerülök egy tóban. Aztán jön a mélyülés. Felkelek. Így múlik el a gyerekkor.


They rock me in a yellow swing. My feet never touches the seemingly always freshly mown grass. I always hide in the present. I don't even know who I am, but even the sadness is calm here. This is how the summer passes. I look around, and the grown-ups are smiling. I look down, and everything is moving. I hear the earth, the water, the wind and my grandmother keeps humming something to me. On my father's back, I'm immersed in a lake. Then comes the deep sitting. I'm getting up. That's how childhood goes.

I've been having a ton of NightTerrors lately where I'm forced to relive my Trauma and this song was one of the hardest songs for me to make due to me rewriting this song over & over again until I got the lyrics correctly. As you know, I love writing & producing Dubstep songs with an uplifting message but something in my Heart was tugging me to create a very Dark song so others may have the ability to relate with what I am currently facing. I wish not to be fake even when it sounds good because I find being Honest is a better path to walk, no matter how painful the experience may be. Please know you're not alone because I am right here Suffering side-by-side with you and through God; I truly Love You!
