About Marc:

Marc Brommel Curtis is a UK-based DJ, Co-Founder of Subcode Underground Radio, and Resident DJ at Phunkt. With over two decades in the underground music scene, Marc’s musical journey began in his early teens, inspired by his parents’ love for electronica and progressive rock. By the age of 14, he was immersed in the UK’s underground rave movement, discovering a passion for DJing and developing his skills with a mix of jungle, electronica, and house music.

Marc’s signature style, rooted in dark progressive house, has been shaped by influences like Sasha, John Digweed, and Carl Cox, and refined through years of practice. His career took off with the successful Psykotik club night, which he co-founded, and a six-year residency at Bristol's legendary Lakota Club. Marc has since played at renowned venues such as Motion in Bristol, Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff, and Brixton Academy, alongside a variety of global underground acts.

A versatile DJ, Marc’s sets span house, techno, breaks, and jungle, but he is best known for his deep, atmospheric progressive house sound. His dedication and energy have cemented his reputation as one of the UK’s most respected underground DJs.
