Sono's 2000 hit "Keep Control" has a special place in my heart. It seemed to follow me through my early stages of clubgoing and parties, and the idea of remixing it stayed with me for years.
So finally, I'm happy to announce that this remix is now a reality, through a collaboration with my talented student Labrysinthe, already an up-and-coming artist on her own. Together, we devoted intensive work to this track to give it our unique psychedelic energy while preserving the spirit of the original.
A big thank you to Guy Shema from Oppenmasters, who did an amazing mastering job that enhances our sound beautifully.

GeKo (Amir Ben David) is known for his unique, powerful and thrilling full-on music that has captivated psytrance audiences around the world at festivals in Israel, Europe, Mexico, Australia and New Caledonia. Labrysinthe is Natalia Lincoln, who took the scenic route to psytrance -- first through classical training, then joining gothic/apocalyptic folk band Unto Ashes (NYC) as premium purveyor of keyboards, vocals, and gloom.

Natalia moved to Berlin in 2008 to taste the delightfully twisted freakquencies of electronic psychedelica, at which point Labrysinthe was born into this world that could neither spell her name nor name her spell.

Since then, she-who-must-be-Labrysinthe studied at dBs Music Berlin and is an original member of the Strength in Numbers beat collective in Berlin (@strength_in_numbers).

Labrysinthe is voluntarily committed to the institution of psytrance and stands for better machines, brighter knowledge, bolder music, and the blissful ecstasies of the beat.
